Overview
Our 8-week Spanish Immersion Class is designed to introduce young learners (ages 5–8) to the Spanish language through fun, interactive, and engaging activities.
Meeting virtually twice a week, students will build foundational vocabulary, improve listening and speaking skills, and develop cultural awareness—all in a warm, encouraging learning environment.
This class emphasizes everyday language, songs, games, and conversation practice to help students gain confidence while having fun!
30-minute sessions | 2x per week for 8 weeks (16 sessions total)
What you learn
- Everyday Spanish vocabulary
- (colors, numbers, greetings, family, food, days of the week, etc.)
- Basic sentence structure and conversation starters
- Listening and speaking fluency
Activities Involved
- Sing-along songs in Spanish
- Repetition games and vocabulary challenges
- Show & tell using new Spanish words
- Movement-based learning (TPR—Total Physical Response)
- Storytime in Spanish
- Virtual scavenger hunts and visual aids
- Simple drawing and labeling activities
- Fun cultural facts and celebration spotlights
