Florida Homeschool Portfolio Checklist
As required by Florida Statute 1002.41(1)(e), your homeschool portfolio must include:
- A log of educational activities — recorded contemporaneously with instruction.
- Titles of reading materials used throughout the year.
- Samples of student work (writing, worksheets, art, projects, etc.).
- Maintained for two years and made available for inspection if requested with 15 days’ written notice.
- There are no prescribed forms or formats—just be sure these components are clearly documented and well-organized.
Parents get to decide what these should include and how they should be organized. School districts cannot add requirements to Florida law. Please contact The Learning Hive if you are in need of an annual evaluation.
